All my posts are created with Canva and I made sure to stay in the colour scheme of Fighting Words which is red, yellow, black, blue, purple, green and pink.
Instagram Grid Before
This is an example of Fighting Words' Instagram grid in the beginning of May. I wanted to make it even more attractive by introducing a template which would make the posts more coherent.
Template Step One
First, I chose a colour according to Fighting Words Identity Guidelines, which should be changed for every posts. I also added a frame for the picture to make it more attractive.
Template Step Two
For every post, I would add a title in the Fighting Words fond and if applicable a subtitle. Additionally, the logo should be added either in white, black, or in colour.
Template Step Three
Lastly, I would add the pictures. The picture in the first page is always a bit smaller so that the title and subtitle fit on the page but on the other pages the pictures can be bigger. However, the logo will be displayed on all pages.
Template Background
Later on, I started to experiment with the background for posts and added fitting elements such as a camera and film for this one or all the Summer Camp elements in the Summer Camp posts.
Instagram Grid After
Thanks to the templates, Fighting Words' Instagram feed looked more coherent but still colourful and appealing to teenagers as well as adults.
